Rumor: Fortnite Leak Suggests Highly Requested Feature is Releasing Soon
A leaker has revealed that Fortnite could finally be getting a Photo Mode, and they’ve even shared details about its features and photography settings. When players first create a Fortnite account, they won’t have access to any cosmetics, only the default skin and items. Eventually, their in-game lockers begin to fill up as they play through events, obtain battle passes, and make purchases in the Item Shop, and for some, it is only natural for them to want to show them off.
There are various ways for gamers to show off their favorite skins and cosmetic combinations, including entering fashion shows with friends and strangers in Fortnite Creative. However, if they want to take pictures of these outfits, they have to resort to Replay Mode. While there is no doubt that Replay Mode is a great way to get good photos in Fortnite, it isn’t practical. To get an image using Replay Mode, gamers have to equip their outfit, enter a match, find a good location, and use emotes to pose. Then, they have to go open the Careers tab, select the Replay of the match, find an exact frame, pause, hide the UI, and take a screenshot.
Rumors Suggest Photo Mode Is Coming to Fortnite
There is no doubt that a Photo Mode would make it a lot easier for players to get pictures of their characters in-game, which is why fans have been asking for this feature for long. Gamers will be happy to know that, according to reliable leaker HYPEX, Fortnite will finally be getting a Photo Mode, and it seems that it could release this season. HYPEX shared that Fortnite‘s Photo Mode will include settings that change their character’s facial expression as well as the lighting, camera, lens, and effects.
This is already a huge step forward, but let’s hope that facial expressions aren’t the only thing that players can change about their character with Photo Mode. It would be awesome if Photo Mode had a locker option that allowed players to switch skins and back bling. Additionally, if they’re holding a weapon, Epic could also give gamers the option to switch it out for another weapon and take awesome Photo Mode pictures.
So far, this feature has only been leaked and is not confirmed, but HYPEX claims that it will be added before the end of Chapter 6 Season 4. The season comes to an end on November 1, so there is still plenty of time for Epic Games to implement this feature. If it becomes a reality, it is likely that the developers will continue to add to it and improve it over time. This is just one of the many features that fans would like to see in Fortnite. It is good to know that Epic Games is listening and could continue to add more of them.
